Policies

MEDICAL CONDITIONS

Medical conditions should be reported immediately to Back Stage Dance Center, LLC in a written notice. Any medications should be given to the students before class (students with inhalers should bring them to class).

SPRING PERFORMANCE

Our annual spring performance will take place in late May or early June. Performance opportunities are a great way to showcase a dancer’s growth and development. Confidence and accomplishment are often the result and a lot of fun happens throughout the process. The choice to participate in the recital is optional, decisions regarding performance must be made by January 2nd. We hope to see you on stage!

MAKE UP CLASSES

Classes may be made up at anytime. There is no need to call for an appointment. Review the schedule, choose a convenient class offered for your age and come on in! Approved make up classes include: if you are out ill, there is a snow day or a personal religious holiday. We strongly encourage making up any classes missed to maintain the continuity of your child’s dance education.

CLASS PREPAREDNESS

Class Preparedness is very important! Not only should you arrive early, but get a drink, go to the bathroom & make sure your hair is up BEFORE CLASS STARTS!

The beginning of class is designed to warm up the body to prevent injuries. If the child has missed the warm up, the teacher may ask them to sit down and watch the class to prevent injury.

SNOW DAYS

Snow days may happen! If they do, the best way to check if we’re closed is to find us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/Back StageDanceCenter98, on Instagram at @Backstagedancecenter98. We will also send out at an email to those on our block email list. Classes may be made up at any time, please check the master schedule.
